A Going Church For A Coming Lord

Dr. Curtis Ridout, Pastor

Rev. Curtis Ridout, pastor of Greater Second Baptist  church on 5615 Geyer Springs Road was named as the pastor in September of 1963.
                                                                                           

Under his guidance this shepherd has led his flock through three property acquisitions.  The most recent being in November of 1996 when Greater Second Baptist moved from 2815 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to their current location on Geyer Springs Road.  Whereas their church campus is the largest African American church campus in the state of Arkansas.

 

Under Pastor Ridout's tutelage, Greater Second Baptist has instituted several ministries and programs that not only ministers to his members' individual spiritual needs but also to the needs of the family.
