Rev. David Featherstone
David was born September 9, 1953 in Blackfish Lake, AR. He is the 4th child of 9 children born to Willie and Mary Featherstone.
David is a 1971 high school graduate of Hughes High School, Hughes, AR and a 1975 college graduate of AM&N/UAPB where he received a BA Degree in Business Administration.
David joined Greater Second Baptist Church on September 30, 1979.
In 1981, David started his own business (Mr. KleanŐs Carpet & Janitorial Services, Inc.) David became an ordained minister in 1984. In 1990, he resigned from the State of Arkansas as a tax auditor and went totally self-employed (A leap of faith).
David pastored the New Light Baptist Church in Helena, AR from 1990-1997. In 1997, Pastor Ridout and David met concerning him returning to GSBC to assist with the ministry at 5615 Geyer Springs Road.
From then to now, David has served in the ministry of GSBC faithfully.
David has been married to Azzie Featherstone for 26 1/2 years.
